SUMMARY:Mindful Leadership Training at Spirit Rock
DESCRIPTION:This certificate training program is open to and designed for leaders and aspiring leaders in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors.  We will cultivate the mindful and compassionate leadership skills of focus\, clarity\, emotional regulation\, well-being\, self-awareness\, caring for self and others\, with a mindset of service to community and the world. \nThrough mindfulness curriculum\, meditation instruction\, group discussions\, and practice opportunities\, we will cultivate skills and behaviors that can be applied directly to our personal and professional lives. By developing and incorporating these intentional practices\, we will strengthen professional relationships and workplace environments\, expanding impact beyond our own learning for the broader benefit of our work and organization(s). \n\nThis program includes training in three realms: personal\, relational\, and organizational. Some included themes are:\nMindful\, compassionate\, values-aligned leadership\nCourageous conversations\nBuilding and empowering effective partnerships and teams\nPersonal ecology: self-care\, well being\, resilience\nSelf-awareness and self-management: emotional intelligence and working with difficult emotions\nCoaching and mentoring: compassionate accountability\nFostering belonging\n\nRegistration closes August 23rd. SUMMARY:Mindful Non-Profit Leadership Training
DESCRIPTION:This five-month training program will be geared toward those in leadership positions working in social and environmental justice\, education\, health care\, and other non-profit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. It will cultivate the mindful leadership skills of focus\, clarity\, emotional regulation\, compassion\, self-awareness\, and well-being for non-profit leaders in the social change sector. \nThrough mindfulness curriculum\, meditation instruction\, group discussions\, and practice opportunities\, participants will cultivate skills and behaviors that can be applied directly to their personal and professional lives. By developing and incorporating these intentional practices\, participants will strengthen professional relationships and workplace environments\, expanding impact beyond their own learning for the broader benefit of their work and organization. \nPROGRAM DETAILS\n• A certificate and training program for Directors\, Executive Directors\, Board Members\, C-level leaders\, or equivalent\, of non-profit organizations\, within the San Francisco Bay Area.\n• Commitment: two 2-day commuter retreats\, three 1-day retreats.\n• Cohort community & peer support is a foundational component of the program to support ongoing mindfulness skill development and integration.\n• Participation is limited to 40 participants.\n• Accommodations are not available at Spirit Rock for the commuter and day retreats.
